Broome County Sheriff’s officials say an Apalachin man is accused of having almost an ounce of cocaine and marijuana in his possession when the vehicle he was in was pulled over on Upper Front Street in the Town of Dickinson May 16.

Deputies say 22 year old Jason Kelly is charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Authorities stopped a vehicle shortly before midnight for traffic and vehicle law violations and say that’s when they found the passenger had the illegal substances.

Kelly was sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
