The 27th Annual Boscov's Downtown Holiday Parade was held this (Saturday) afternoon.  Several thousand people turned out to watch various floats, displays and groups take part in ushering in the holidays.  And Santa made an appearance to wish all a very happy and safe holiday season.

The parade began at the intersection of Arthur and Main Streets and proceeded to the Broome County Courthouse.  The crowd as well as participants enjoyed sunshine and rare temperatures in the 60's for the third week in November.

For parade enthusiasts the Business Women's and Professional Association Johnson City Holiday Parade is scheduled for Thursday night, December 1 and the Endicott Hooliday Parade follows on Saturday, December 3rd.
