The Florida International Panthers rolled to a 66-49 victory over the Binghamton Bearcats in men's basketball last night at the Events Center.  The Panthers dominated the boards out-rebounding Binghamton 45-26.  6'11" center Adrian Diaz dominated inside play and finished with 16 points, 18 rebounds and four blocks.  He came into the game leading the nation in blocks per game.

Binghamton got double- digit scoring from Willie Rodriguez and Everson Davis who each scored 11 points.  The Bearcats trailed by seven points at the half but after a good start to the second half for the Bearcats FIU went on an 18-5 run to open up a big lead.

With the loss Binghamton falls to 2-9 while the Panthers move to 5-7.  The Bearcats are idle until next Tuesday, December 29th when they host Mt. St. Mary's at 7:00 PM.
