A Standoff in Cortland County Ends Peacefully

A Cortland County man is facing several charges following a standoff with Sheriff’s Deputies that started with a report of a domestic incident at around 10:30 p.m. September 11.

Deputies responded to a residence on State Route 392 in Virgil and were told 48 year old Brian Robinson had barricaded himself in his home, had several loaded guns and threatened police over the phone to use the weapons against them
