A Binghamton woman is accused of stealing a credit card after she had been allowed to stay at the owner’s home for a few days.

New York State Police arrested 25 year old Emily Ashman Thursday, March 17.

Authorities say Ashman allegedly stole the credit card from a home in Oxford in February of last year and used it to buy over $1,000 worth of merchandise from several stores.

Ashman is charged with grand larceny and was sent to the Chenango County Jail on $5,000 bail.
