Owego Woman Jailed On Child Endangerment Charge

A Tioga County woman was arrested after she allegedly failed to appear in court on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child.

Authorities say 44-year-old Danelle Mitchell of Owego was arrested Tuesday on a bench warrant.

According to the Tioga County Sheriff's Office, Mitchell did not show up for a scheduled appearance in Owego town court.

After her arrest on the warrant, Mitchell was arraigned in the town court. She was sent to the county jail on $1,000 bail.
