Owego Woman Accused of Embezzlement

The former office manager for Homer C. Gow and Sons Company is accused of embezzling over $70,000 from the company between 2009 and 2015.

Owego Police say 47 year old Denise LaBarron of Owego was arrested after she turned herself in.  That followed a two month-long investigation, which is continuing.

La Barron is charged with felony grand larceny and police say more charges are pending.  She’s due to appear in Village of Owego Court in February.
