Owego Stop Sign Violation Leads To Drug Charge

Bob Joseph/WNBF News

A Tioga County man faces a drug-related charge after state police say he went through a stop sign.

Authorities say 40-year-old Anthony Davis of Owego was arrested Wednesday following a traffic stop on State Route 38 in Owego.

Troopers say Davis unlawfully possessed eight hydrocodone pills.

Police say Davis had a suspended driver license.

Davis was arraigned in Owego town court and released on his own recognizance.
