Owego Residents are Told to Boil Water

Some Town of Owego residents are under a boil water advisory.

Town officials say Shady Hill Road in the area of Perry and Eland Drive, Laine Court, Jennifer Lane, Lori, Rebecca, Cara and Megan Drive, Beth Drive, the intersection of Laine Court and East Main Road to Route 434 and the intersection of East Main Road and Route 434 to Old Owego Road are affected, along with the Tioga Terrace areas of Glann Road to Alpine Drive, Highland, Susan, Overbrook and Frederick Drive, Brookside, Griffin Drive, Tioga Boulevard, Boland, Riverview and Terrace Drive along with Brown Lane, Cooper Drive, Bowlen Road and Crescent Drive and the Toby Road and Stephens Road trailer park areas.

Officials have not released any information about the reason for the boil order or when the order may be lifted.
