Bob Joseph/WNBF News

It took into the early morning hours to tally all the votes, but the uncertified results from the March 18 mayoral election in Owego puts incumbent Kevin Millar on top, winning a second term.

According to the results, as of 2 a.m. March 19, Millar had 394 votes to challenger Lisa Curatolo’s 310.

The victory comes in spite of a recent apology to the public posted on social media by Millar for his arrest on a drunk driving charge.

In other, unofficial results, Rod Marchewka has been elected Clerk/Treasurer, Steven May, Earl Hartman and Mike Phelps have captured seats on the Owego Board of Trustees.
