It took into the early morning hours to tally all the votes, but the uncertified results from the March 18 mayoral election in Owego puts incumbent Kevin Millar on top, winning a second term.

According to the results, as of 2 a.m. March 19, Millar had 394 votes to challenger Lisa Curatolo's 310.

The victory comes in spite of a recent apology to the public posted on social media by Millar for his arrest on a drunk driving charge.

In other, unofficial results, Rod Marchewka has been elected Clerk/Treasurer, Steven May, Earl Hartman and Mike Phelps have captured seats on the Owego Board of Trustees.
