Owego Man Accused of Burglary

An Owego man is scheduled to appear in court to answer to felony charges in connection with an alleged break-in.

Tioga County Sheriff’s officials say 51 year old mark Helton was arrested July 27^th in connection with a burglary at a home in which $1,000 worth of property was stolen.

Helton is charged with burglary and grand larceny.

Authorities say Helton was released on his own recognizance following his arraignment in Town of Owego Court.
