Owego CVS Robber Sentenced

Officials say an Attica man, accused of robbing the CVS Pharmacy in Owego of hydrocodone and money at knifepoint in February of 2013 is to spend 15 years in New York State Prison.

64 year old John Maloski pleaded guilty in May to felony robbery.

Authorities say they found Maloski was also responsible for robberies in Big Flats, Corning and Batavia and is a convicted sexual violent offender.

Records show Malowski was convicted in a 1983 rape case in Attica.

In addition to the prison time, Maloski was sentenced to five years probation.
