A 23-year-old man has been accused of driving more than 100 miles per hour while fleeing from state police in the town of Oneonta.

Authorities say Jordon Davis of Laurens was charged with fleeing an officer and reckless driving. He also was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

According to state police, a trooper attempted to stop a vehicle driven by Davis on Route 205 for failure to keep right.

Police say Davis refused to comply and sped away.

The vehicle was found a short time later parked behind a home on Route 205.

Davis was arraigned in Oneonta town court. He was ordered to return to court on February 12.
