Broome County Sheriff’s officials say online tips have lead to the arrest of a Binghamton man in connection with the use of a stolen credit card earlier this month.

The card was reported stolen Monday from the Town of Dickinson and yesterday 45 year old Carlos Ramos Junior of Binghamton was arrested, wearing the same clothing as shown in surveillance footage from a convenience store that had been posted on the Sheriff’s website.

The posting advised the suspect spoke Spanish and fled in a Ford Escape Sport Utility Vehicle.

Ramos is charged with two felony counts each of grand larceny and identity theft as well as felony criminal possession of stolen property.
