One Pot Meth Warnings Issued
Cortland County Sheriff’s officials say a tip from a bicyclist about a suspicious bottle along route 11 near Weaver Road in Polkville has launched an investigation into methamphetamine production.
Deputies confirmed the bottle was a spent ‘One Pot’ meth production device. The bottle was found around 2:45 p.m. August 28.
Special teams were brought in to remove the device and authorities say the investigation did not affect traffic or pedestrians in the area.

The Sheriff’s Department also reminds people if they encounter a bottle or package that looks suspicious, don’t touch it and contact the nearest police agency immediately.
