One Person is Dead in a Tompkins County RV Fire

One person is dead following a fire at a camper in Tompkins county.

New York State Police and the New York State Office of Fire Prevention and Control are investigating the fatal blaze in the fifth-wheeler that was parked on Porter Hill Road in the Town of Enfield.

The fire was reported at 9:25 p.m. April 24.

The body of one person was found in the RV.

Positive identification and the manner and causes of death are pending autopsy results.

The investigation is continuing.
