Oktoberfest returns to Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 2596 Main Street in Maine this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  Hosted by parishioners and other volunteers from all over the area, Oktoberfest is one of the area's biggest festivals and traditionally wraps-up the outdoor festival season in the area.

Oktoberfest begins tomorrow night at 6 PM and runs until 11 PM.  The group Old Friends entertains from 7-11 PM under the big tent.  On Saturday the festival goes from 12 Noon - 11 PM and features three groups to entertain visitors throughout the day.  From 1-5 PM Pasty White & Doublewide perform followed by the BC Celtic Pipe & Drum Corps at 6 PM and Frostbit Blue from 7-11PM.  Sunday, Oktoberfest runs from 11 AM - 5PM with Remedy performing beginning at 12:30PM.

As always, there will be plenty of food including pizza, sandwiches, ethnic favorites and the Oktoberfest signature delight...homemade Manhattan Clam Chowder !  Along with food and entertainment there will also be a bake sale, country store, basket raffle and games for children.   WNBF's Roger Neel will broadcast live from Oktoberfest from 11 AM - 1 PM on Sunday on the Barb Mack Show on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
