More information is expected to be coming out soon concerning a robbery at a store in the Oakdale Mall.

Johnson City Police were called to the American Eagle store at 11:09 p.m. December 14 in connection with a reported robbery.

According to initial accounts, a man carrying a package rang the bell at the back entrance of the store and overpowered an employee, zip-tying the victim’s hands before making off with an undisclosed amount of money.

The man stood over 6 feet tall, weighing about 180 pounds and was wearing a black mask and gloves, grey hooded sweatshirt and dirty sneakers.
