O.L. Davis Fire Company Holds Annual ice Cream Social

Several thousand people turned out last evening to attend the annual O.L.Davis Fire Company's Ice Cream Social.  The event was held at the fire station at 3508 Country Club Road in Endwell.

Established in 1921 the O.L.Davis Fire Company is made up of volunteer firefighters.  The fire company has its own officers and raises its own funds to operate.

Many of the volunteer firefighters were on hand to help with traffic control, sell tickets and serve up cake and ice cream.  Treats included vanilla and chocolate ice cream and cake.

The volunteer firefighters serve over 12,000 residents in Endwell covering over a seven square mile area.
