Dozens of NYSEG employees and family members will be donating their time to community agencies around the state on Saturday, October 20th as part of Iberdrola’s International Volunteer Day.  Iberdrola is the parent company of NYSEG.

NYSEG employees will be joining hundreds of their Iberdrola colleagues from around the world as they give back to their communities.

Aside from these community activities, NYSEG employees have been collecting food for local pantries since October.

Some of the events that are taking place in the Greater Binghamton Area are:

  • Re-installation of sidewalk pavers and painting of office space at Mom’s House in Johnson City.
  • Painting and carpentry projects at ACHIEVE in Binghamton.
  • Painting, clearing of trails, and wood splitting at the Boy Scouts of America Tuscarora Scout Reservation in Windsor.
  • Painting and other repairs to the flood damaged YMCA of Binghamton.
  • Painting and landscaping at the Kopernik Observatory and Science Center in Vestal.
