New York Republican State Committee chairman Edward Cox is offering future employment advice to Vice President Joe Biden.

Speaking on WNBF Radio's Binghamton Now program Friday, Cox suggested Biden might want to consider a TV job.

Cox said Biden could be "one of these late-night talk show hosts."

After viewing Thursday night's debate, Cox observed that Biden is a "very loquacious person and he's got a great sense of humor."

Cox continued: "He can talk about just about anything so I think he'd be very good at it."

The New York Republican chairman praised the performance of the party's vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan in his joint appearance with Biden.

Cox said Ryan proved "what a really good choice he was as vice president."

Cox noted Ryan is well-versed on the federal budget and is a "real fiscal conservative."
