Nurse's Aid Arraigned in Nursing Home Incident

A Cortland Certified Nurse’s Aid is being charged with falsifying business records and endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person.

28 year old Noell Otto is accused of abusing a female nursing home patient at the Crown Center in Cortland December 5 and then submitting a false statement to her employer about how the patient sustained injuries.

Otto was arraigned February 4.

Her next court appearance is a pretrial hearing scheduled for next month.
