Notre Dame: A Tradition of Excellence

The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball teams played at Notre Dame November 14 as part of the Hall of Fame Tip-off Classic.  It was the first ever meeting between the two teams.  The Fighting Irish play in the Purcell Pavilion in the Joyce Center on the campus of Notre Dame.

Notre Dame is one of best known universities in the nation.  They have had national success in numerous sports and have fans support them from all over the country.

They have won national championships.  Their athletes have won Heisman Trophies and their coaches have become legends.  The entire upper level of the Purcell Pavilion is ringed with tributes to many of these great teams and individuals.
