Not as Much Methane Released From Gas Drilling as First Thought

The Associated Press reports new information from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency says there appears to be quite a bit less methane released into the atmosphere by the national gas industry during drilling operations than had been earlier thought.

The new report revises the amount of methane released downward by 20%.

That in spite of a rapid growth in production.
