Norwich Girl Dies in Crash Near SUNY Geneseo

Authorities say the SUNY Geneseo student who was killed in a crash involving a car and a tractor trailer at the intersection of Court Street and Route 63 near the campus was an 18 year old freshman from Norwich.

Livingston County Sheriff’s officials say Savanna Williams died December 20.

Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.

She was a member of the women’s basketball team.

The driver of the rig has not been charged.

The investigation is continuing.
