Norwich Gas Station Robbed at Gunpoint

Chenango County Sheriff’s officials are investigating the reported armed robbery of a gas station in the Town of Norwich.

Officials say at around 6:55 p.m. September 22, a man entered the Kwik Fill on State Route 12 and displayed what appeared to be a handgun.

The man is white, standing about six feet tall and was dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black and white gloves and a white knit hat and/or a white face mask.  He was last seen entering a plaza on the east side of Route 12.

Anyone who was in the area at the time of the crime and who may have seen something is asked to contact Chenango County Sheriff’s officials at (607) 334-2000.
