Numerous calls to authorities about a vehicle swerving across lanes on State Route 17 in the Town of Windsor are translating into drug and other charges for a North Tonawanda couple.

Broome County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 911 calls regarding a Toyota Camry failing to maintain its lane and say they found the driver, 21 year old Zeeshan Kahn Balooch showed signs of impairment.

Authorities say the passenger in the car, 22 year old Nicohle Yehezkel had a white powdery substance on her nose and shirt.

Authorities say they found Ketamine and 34 bags of methamphetamine packaged for sale in the car.

Balooch is charged with driving while under the influence of drugs and two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Yehezkel is charged with felony and misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Both were sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
