The Norfolk Admirals defeated the Binghamton Senators 2-1 in overtime last night at the Floyd L Maines Veterans Memorial Arena.  Andrew O'Brien rifled a slapshot past goaltender Scott Greenham at 1:59 of the extra session to give the Admirals the bonus point.  Norfolk also earned a 5-3 victory over Binghamton on Friday night.  After the two wins Norfolk has moved one point ahead of the B-Sens in the East Division of the American Hockey League and leaves Binghamton in last place.

Derek Grant tallied a short-handed goal in the first period.  Norfolk tied it a 1-1 with a goal from Emerson Etem in the second 20 minutes.  Neither side could score in the final period of regulation and that set the stage for overtime and an Admiral victory.

Next up for the B-Sens is a home game with the East Division's leading team Hershey on Friday, February 6 at 7:05 PM.  Hershey enters the week with 54 points.  The B-Sens are 17-20-5-1 for 40 points.
