Pennsylvania State Police say no one was wearing a seat belt in a deadly, two-vehicle crash June 30 on Route 220 in Bradford County.

Troopers say 22 year old Marissa Watkins attempted to make a left-hand turn into a drive way and traveled into the path of a car driven by 60 year old Thomas Cox.

Watkins’ Sport Utility Vehicle and Cox’s sedan collided head-on. Watkins’ vehicle spun around and turned on its side in the southbound lane.

Cox’s Buick Lesabre went of the shoulder of the road, into a front yard and hit a concrete step and metal carport railing.

Cox died at the hospital. His passenger and a passenger in Watkins’ SUV suffered minor injuries.
