Chenango County Sheriff’s officials and the Village of Sidney Police say they have arrested a Town of Guilford man on felony counts following a lengthy investigation into the sales of cocaine and heroin in Sidney.

Officials say they executed a “no knock” search warrant at a home on Spreutels Lane in Guilford Wednesday, April 20.

Sheriff’s K9 Jeroen and his human partner, Deputy O’Hara found about 280 packets of heroin, over an ounce of cocaine, digital scales, packaging material and cash.

Samuel Rivera is charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony criminal nuisance and two counts of criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

Rivera was sent to the Chenango County Jail on $10,000 bail.

Officials say the investigation is continuing and more arrests are expected.
