With Binghamton's name change from Mets to Rumble Ponies in place the first official game for the new team was set for tonight.  New Hampshire's weather forecast is similar to the Greater Binghamton Area forecast with plenty of rain.

This is the second straight season opener washed out between the Fisher Cats and Binghamton.  Last April the teams were scheduled to begin the season in Binghamton.  Rain forced postponement.

The Rumble Ponies will have their home opener next Thursday, April 13 at NYSEG Stadium when they host the Erie SeaWolves at 6:35 PM.  All games will be broadcast on News Radio 1290 WNBF or CBS Sports Radio 1360 AM.
