The NJCAA Men's Ice Hockey Championship Tournament will be held at SUNY Broome's Ice Center this weekend.   Four teams square off to decide the national championship.  Semi-final round games will be played Saturday with the title game set for Sunday afternoon.

Two of the teams competing for the national crown are from the East, one from the West and one at-large bid comprise the Final Four.

Opening semi-final action begins Saturday at 3 PM when top-seed Erie Community College meets fourth-seed Mohawk Valley.  At 6 PM host team and third-seed SUNY Broome faces second-seed Williston State from North Dakota.  The winners of those semi-final games meet at 2 PM Sunday for the national title.

Tickets for both days of competition are available at the door.  Admission is priced at $10 per day or a tournament pass which covers both days is available for $15.

According to SUNY Broome Director of Athletics Brett Carter the school bid on the national tournament and won a three-year contract to bring the event to the school's Ice Center.
