Newark Valley Man Charged in Overdose Death

A Newark Valley man is charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance in connection of providing drugs for a woman who was found dead at the Skylark Motel in Vestal in December.

Vestal Police say the 44 year woman was found December 11 in the motel and an autopsy showed the woman died as the result of a drug overdose.

Friday, January 8, 65 year old Raymond Ellis Senior was placed under arrest, arraigned and sent to the Broome County Jail.
