Newark Valley Grandmother Charged With Felony DWI

A Newark Valley grandmother is charged with felony aggravated driving while intoxicated.

New York State Police say 57 year old Barbara Davey ran into a ditch just off Newark Valley Maine Road in the Town of Newark Valley June 10 at 5:19 p.m.

Troopers say Davey, who had her 6 year old granddaughter in the car was found to have a blood alcohol content of .13%.

Davey was ordered to appear in Newark Valley Town Court in July.
