The New York State Public High School Athletic Association Baseball Championships will be held in our area this Saturday.  This marks the twelfth consecutive year the semi-finals and championship rounds will be played here.

All five classifications will play semi-final round games at 10 AM and 1 PM with the winners of each game meeting for the championship of their respective classifications at 4 PM.  Two Section 4 teams will be competing for state titles.

In Class C competition Seton Catholic Central looks for its second consecutive state championship.  The Saints meet Hoosic Valley out of Section 2 at 1 PM at Conlon Field in Binghamton in their semi-final battle.  In Class D Hancock meets Heuvelton from Section 10 at 1 PM at SUNY  Broome's Hornet Field in semi-final action.

Tournament sites include:

Class AA at  Maine-Endwell, Gary Grooks Field

Class A at Union-Endicott High School, Pete Sylvester Field

Class B at Binghamton University, Bearcats Sports Complex

Class C at Conlon Field in Binghamton

Class D at SUNY Broome, Hornet Field
