New York Reservoirs Open to Boaters

The New York City Department of Environmental Protection says it has opened some Upstate reserviors for some recreational boaters.

Craft that can use the facilities are no-motorized and include kayaks, canoes and sail boats.

The reservoirs that are now open are the Cannonsville and Pepacton in Delaware County, and the Neversink and Schoharie reservoirs in the catskills.
