New York’s Casino License Board begins taking public comment on proposals for four possible full-service casino licenses in the state this week. The Gaming Facility Location Board hosts its first meeting in Albany.

The hearing for the Southern Tier/ Finger Lakes’ three proposals  September 24 in Ithaca.

Tioga Downs in Nichols and Traditions in the Town of Union as well as a development by Wilmorite Corporation in Tyre, New York in Seneca County are in the running for the regional license.

The Location Board has said it plans to make its decision on awarding the licenses later this fall.
