New Pennsylvania Plant Cleans Frack Water
A new plant is operating in north-central Pennsylvania that prepares waste water from the natural gas industry for recycling.
Aquatech International of Canonsburg has opened the treatment plant in Tioga County, Pennsylvania.
The company is designed to treat and recycle wastewater generated by Marcellus Shale natural gas drilling.
Aquatech says the operations opened on Wednesday.
The company also says treated wastewater can be reused.
