New Jersey Man Killed in Chenango County ATV Crash

One New Jersey man is dead and another is seriously injured in a all terrain vehicle crash in Chenango County.

Sheriff's officials say 33 year old Jeremy Edmonds of Milford, New Jersey was a passenger on the ATV driven by 25 year old Mark Brong of High Bridge, New Jersey when Brong lost control on Brown Road in the Town of Sherburne July 13 shortly before midnight.

Both Brong and Edmonds were ejected as the vehicle rolled.

Edmonds was pronounced dead at the scene while Brong was taken to Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Utica where he was listed in critical condition.
