New Berlin Woman Drives Car Into a House

Chenango County Sheriff’s officials accuse a New Berlin woman of driving drunk when she crashed a vehicle January 11.

Deputies say 59 year old Michele Brazee was driving south on State Highway 8 in New Berlin at around 10:45 a.m. when her vehicle left the road, traveled about 200 feet off the road and hit a house.

There were three people in the house at the time but none of them was hurt.

Investigators say they found Brazee was driving with a blood alcohol level at twice the legal limit of .08%.

She’s been ordered to appear in Town of New Berlin Court at a later date.
