The father of an Endwell man who was arrested last week for allegedly making explosives and methamphetamine and the father’s girlfriend are now also facing charges.

Broome County Sheriff’s officials say 23 year old Jeffery R. Blunk’s father, 49 year old Jeffrey A. Blunk and the elder Blunk’s live-in girlfriend, 54 year old Amiee Derrickson are charged with criminal facilitation and were sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.

The younger man, who is also wanted in Illinois for allegedly making explosives and methamphetamine, was taken into custody at his Luther Street apartment after Sheriff’s officials, the Broome/ Endicott SWAT Team and U-S Marshalls surrounded the house October 11.

Broome County Sheriff David Harder says home-made explosives were found in the apartment. Officials now say ten ounces of methamphetamine oil, which is a bi-product of methamphetamine production was also found at the residence.

Authorities say Blunk’s dad and Derrickson are accused of assisting Blunk by buying the products needed to make meth.
