Neil Armstrong, the first astronaut to walk on the moon, has died according to ABC News.  Armstrong, 82, recently had heart surgery and his death is being to attributed to complications from that procedure.

Armstrong was a member of the famed Apollo 11 crew, who on July 20th, 1969, successfully landed on the moon.
