Tonight is the night college basketball fans have waited for since the beginning of this season.  In Atlanta the NCAA men's basketball championship will be decided in the nationally televised game (CBS/WBNG TV 12) with a scheduled tip-off of 9:23 PM.

The Louisville Cardinals with a record of 34-5 and the tournament's overall number one seed meets the Michigan Wolverines with a 31-7 slate.  Louisville advanced to the championship game with a 72-68 victory over Wichita State on Saturday while Michigan knocked the Syracuse Orange out of the tournament with a 61-56 decision.

The Wolverines have a connection with Binghamton University this season   The Bearcats played at Michigan on December 11 and lost 67-39.  Standout Trey Burke  led the Wolverines with 19 points while Jordan Reed paced the Bearcats with 11 points and 8 rebounds.  Burke was named the John R. Wooden Award winner over the weekend to go along with his AP College Basketball Player of the Year honors.
