Nancy Lopez Returns to Dick’s Open

World Golf Hall of Fame member Nancy Lopez returns to the Dick's Sporting Goods Open to take part in the United Health Services Golf Exhibition on Wednesday, August 26th at the En Joie Golf Course in Endicott.  UHS Orthopedics and Sport Medicine will host her appearance.

Lopez won 48 LPGA Tour victories and three major championships over her outstanding career.  In 1978 she became the only LPGA Tour member to win Rookie of the Year honors, Player of the Year and the Vare Trophy in the same year.  In her career she was named Player of the Year four times.

Lopez travels the country to promote awareness of medical issues like arthritis and cardiovascular disease which run in her family.  The event is free but registration is required.  To register call (607) 205-1500 or visit uhs.net.  The Dick's Open is scheduled for August 25-30 at En Joie Golf Course.
