NY Congressional candidate Dan Lamb held a rally today in Binghamton in opposition of the proposal that would allow hydraulic fracturing for natural gas in the Southern Tier.  Lamb, who is running for New York's newly created 22nd Congressional District, says that the moratorium on fracking should remain in place until more comprehensive environmental, economic, and public health studies can be conducted.

Lamb says that the Southern Tier "should not be a guinea pig for the shale gas experiment" and that making fracking legal so quickly is reckless.

Lamb will face off against Republican Richard Hanna for that Congressional seat in November.
