Murder Investigation in Great Bend, Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania State Police say the death of a Susquehanna County man in 2016 is being investigated as a murder case.

Troopers were called to Cal’s Way in Great Bend Township at 3:02 p.m. November 21 and found 64 year old Calvin Fichter dead in an upstairs bedroom of his home.

There was no sign of forced entry and Fichter’s handgun was missing.  He had been shot three times in the head and neck.
