Mt. Pocono, Pa. Woman is Arrested For DWI in Kirkwood

A Monroe County, Pennsylvania woman is being charged with drunk driving in  Broome County.

New York State Police say 57 year old Cindi Vitolo of Mt. Pocono was arrested after hitting a guiderail on Interstate 81 North in Kirkwood May 17.

Troopers say Vitolo continued to drive north after hitting the guiderail but was located a short time after authorities got the initial report of an erratic driver hitting the barrier.

Officials say Vitolo was determined to be driving while intoxicated but refused to submit to a breath test.

She was sent to the Broome County Jail on $1,000 bail.
