Motorist Charged With DWI and Speeding in Owego

Tioga County Sheriff’s officials say a Binghamton man is charged with felony driving while intoxicated after they said he was seen speeding on Route 434.

Authorities say 47 year old Timothy Weidman was clocked doing 73 miles per hour in a 55 mile an hour zone at 9:58 p.m. in the Town of Owego.

In addition to the felony DWI, Weidman is charged with speeding and aggravated DWI.

He’s been ordered to appear in Town of Owego Court later this month.
