Most Holy Rosary, Route 26, Maine wrapped up its annual Oktoberfest celebration on October 4.  Oktoberfest is held annually on the first weekend of October. The event draws several thousand people who visit for the musical entertainment and delicious food and baked goods.

On the menu were plenty of homemade treats including halupki and their signature clam chowder.  There was also an entire room of baked goods on sale as well as basket raffles and plenty of games for kids.

Proceeds from the three-day Oktoberfest go for various church projects.  Dozens of church members and area residents volunteer their time to prepare and serve food, sell tickets and assist in various capacities.
