The latest threats against Jewish organizations, including three in New York State March 7 are being denounced from the White House down to the Governor’s Mansion and State Senate Chambers in Albany.

Threats were called in to the Jewish Community Center in DeWitt near Syracuse, another facility in Brighton, near East Rochester and the Anti-Defamation League in New York City.  In January, a threat had been called in to the JCC in Vestal.

Governor Andrew Cuomo has ordered a full investigation and called any threats to the Jewish community an attack on everyone.

Senate Majority Leader John Flanagan says he believes strongly in increasing penalties to deter people from making the threats.
